We would like to highlight the non-profit portal www.european-funding-guide.eu, an initiative aimed at alleviating the problem of lack of funds for education, the primary reason for dropping out or giving up higher education in the EU.
The portal catalogs more than 12,000 scholarships, grants, and awards across the EU, amounting to over 27 billion euros. More than 500 of these are specifically aimed at Italian citizens. The platform is completely free to access and can be used by undergraduate, master's, or doctoral students.

The Rotary Club Sant’Antonino di Piacenza is pleased to announce a Master’s Degree Thesis Award for graduates who complete their degree in the July, September, or December 2026 sessions, or in the April 2027 session.
The award is open to graduates who have obtained a final grade of at least 100/110 and have submitted an original thesis of significant scientific value in one of the following areas:
- CO₂ capture from industrial processes;
- Technologies, processes and models for the sustainable management of waste and residual materials;
- Technologies, processes and models for the sustainable use of biomass;
- Models and tools for the management of Smart Energy Systems;
- Technologies, models and assessment methodologies for improving air quality;
- Architectural and landscape enhancement of energy facilities;
- Sustainable urban regeneration projects;
- Projects for the regeneration of degraded landscapes through innovative solutions addressing climate change, the environment, energy, transport, industry and agriculture;
- Urban and territorial strategies for addressing climate change.
The award aims to recognize and promote high-quality academic research capable of contributing to environmental sustainability, energy transition, climate resilience, technological innovation and the sustainable development of urban and territorial systems.
