Study plan

Study plans that comply with the curricula set out in the Educational Rules of the relevant programmes are approved automatically.

If you submit an individual study plan inserting subjects of your choice, this will be analysed for evaluation and approval by the person in charge of each Programme. These extra subjects will become effective following approval.

OFA (additional educational obligation)

OFAs (Additional Educational Obligations) are allocated on the basis of the outcome of the test for admission to an Engineering programme. There are two types of OFA:

  • English OFA (TENG OFA): when the number of correct answers is lower than 24, considering the English section only.
  • OFA TEST: when the test score, rounded up to the nearest whole number, is less than 60.

OFAs set some limitations. In particular, until they have fulfilled their Obligations, students enrolled with OFA TESTS cannot:

  • enter courses that provide credits in excess of requirements
  • bring forward courses that are included in years after the first
  • submit an independent Study Plan
  • take part in in-course assessments
  • sign up for exams
  • change programme

In academic years after the first, they may:

  • enter the re-attendance of courses offered during the first year
  • enter the first attendance of courses offered during the first year
